About Thomas
Thomas Lyons is a Catholic speaker from New Braunfels, Texas, where he lives with his beautiful wife, Amanda. Thomas has been in ministry his entire adult life, beginning as a seminarian for the Archdiocese of San Antonio. After about four years in the seminary, Thomas discerned that he was not called to be a priest, but instead that his call was to take what he had learned throughout his time in formation and use it to share the joy of the Gospel wherever possible. This led Thomas to St. John Paul II Catholic High School, where he served as the Director of Faith Formation and Theology Teacher. During this time, Thomas reconnected with his now wife, who was the Director of Youth Ministry at the parish they both grew up attending and discovered a love of ministry at. He quickly realized that his vocation was to be her loving husband and that everything up to this point was preparing him for this. Thomas teaches RCIA and high school youth ministry alongside Amanda at their home parish when he is not traveling the country speaking.
